Banyan bowl

Banyan – Ficus columnaris.
A very tall native tree that can grow to 30m high. It is a common tree around the lowland forest of Lord Howe Island. The trees develop multiple trunks from aerial roots that develop off the branches; and a single tree may cover one hectare.
