In July 2021 I travelled to Coffs Harbour for a ceremony to accept an Honorary Doctorate in Natural and Physical Sciences awarded by Southern Cross University.
This week was the first tour organised for Botanica Tour Group. The group enjoyed exploring the island on foot to learn all about the island’s fascinating flora, marine life, geology, history and conservation.
This was the fourth Sea Slug Census for Lord Howe Island, an event organised by Stephen Smith at Southern Cross University and hosted by the Lord Howe island Museum.
There were just eight people on this exclusive Birdweek; we visited all of the best birding spots, and had plenty of time to sit and observe the birds at close range.
