Through my company Lord Howe Island Nature Tours, I run a number of special-interest one-week tours throughout the year, for small groups to enjoy exploring the island on foot, discover the unique flora and fauna first hand, or participate in conservation activities.
There are also day and half-day nature walks available when I’m not running the week-long tours.
To make the most of your stay on the Island, you can arrange a private day or half-day tour. From the microscopic to the gargantuan, I will show you the many secrets of the island that very few people get to see.
One of the most popular walks is the low tide walk exploring the rockpools to discover the marine life
The day walk stop at Rocky Run for an explanation of the Island’s volcanic origins
The half day botany tour to Transit Hill for in depth look at the Island’s flora
Organise a private walk to remote places on the island
Walking up Mt Eliza on a day trip to North Bay
A close up look at Sooty terns on a personal tour
Evening lectures
I also give audiovisual presentations at the museum several times each week, where you can learn in depth about the fascinating World Heritage flora, fauna, geology, history and conservation.
